As with all GMPE service packs, the biggest driver for GMPE 9.0.1 is product quality.  This release contains over 50 fixed issues for improved product stability and quality.  For a complete list of fixes and improvements refer to the GMPE 9.0.1 release notes.  GMPE 9.0.1 also supports Microsoft Office 2010 (32 bit version). Shown below.

The new integration syncs contacts, calendars and emails automatically between GoldMine and Outlook 2003 or higher.  This is great for syncing to most smart phones as they typically sync with Outlook or Exchange.

In the photo you see links to key parts of GoldMine directly from Outlook. Most recently viewed contacts. On the upper right you see links to the contact info from GoldMine. a single click takes the user to the contact record.
Finally notice the check boxes and company names, indicating that the emails are stored in GoldMIne's history tab. There are several other new features in the integration. Call for details.
